Matthew McCabe

Matthew is continuing his brave fight but needs your help to continue with all the essential treatment……….Radio Bute is asking its listeners  to help with donations……you can do this on          or by popping into Liz’s Cupcake Heaven

Radio Bute’s weekly COMMUNITY SHOW is the  station’s  FLAGSHIP SHOW giving anyone associated with Bute the opportunity to discuss any relevant issue….it is produced by Kaz  Molloy

Studio guests  have been many and varied representing virtually every aspect of island life and topics of local interest.Off island guests have included Blair Jenkins,  YES campaign leader, Michael Moore MP the then secretary of State for Scotland, Alan Reid MP…..our proudest interview was with Jim Ross shortly before he sadly passed away.

Local musicians  Beth Swan,Fraser Lindsay,  Rosie O Byrne, Jordan Kane and Anabrese have all performed live in the studio on the show…….we also play some tracks to break up the  speech element.

We are currently looking for a new presenter to host the weekly show which is aired on Fridays between 2pm and 4pm…..this is an ideal opportunity to learn some basic radio skills and to be involved in our local community……… will of course be provided.

If you are interested in joining our community spirited team and taking over this important post please  email or have a chat with producer Kaz Molloy or station manager Davie McGhee or current presenter Mike Blair
